Description
A98L-0040-0323 is a gear oil specified by FANUC for the J2-class oil-bath reducer on heavy-duty and sealed variants, notably the M-1000iA and M-2000iA arms (palletizers and high payloads) and sealed versions of the R-2000iC. In these heavily loaded reducers, an oil bath replaces grease to better carry away the heat generated in continuous duty and to improve sealing against water ingress. Use only on models that call for this part number.
