Description
FANUC-grade mechanical unit backup battery for compact, low-payload robots. Standard configuration: a pack of four 1.5 V C-size alkaline batteries (LR14) installed in the dedicated housing on the robot base; a lithium variant is also available for high-temperature applications or extended service life. Preserves each axis’s absolute encoder position data while the controller is powered off. Common on LR Mate 200iD robots, compact-configuration M-10iA/M-20iA and similar platforms. Replace every 1 to 2 years or as soon as the low-battery alarm appears, before calibration data is lost.
