Description
Moly White FD0 is a semi-fluid (NLGI 00) lithium soap grease enriched with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2). Specified by FANUC under part number A98L-0040-0177 (#2KG suffix for the 2 kg container), it is intended for the reducers and gears of older generations of industrial robots subject to high contact pressures and oscillating motion. The MoS2 additive provides boundary lubrication at startup, under shock loads and during slow oscillation, when a hydrodynamic film cannot form. Used on the RV reducers and worm gears of older FANUC models.
