Probot Palletizer app
The terms for using the Probot Palletizer app and its online services. Effective date: October 9, 2026.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Probot Systems Inc. (“Probot”, “we”). They govern your use of the Probot Palletizer mobile app and of the online services that come with it: your account, the cloud backup of recipes and the AI assistant (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the app, you accept these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.
The Service is a professional tool for the operators, supervisors and integrators of Probot robotic palletizing cells. You must be of the age of majority where you live. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it, and “you” also refers to that company.
• Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for what is done with your account; tell us right away at support@probotsystems.com if you think someone else has used it.
• To protect accounts, five wrong passwords lock the account for 15 minutes.
• One account is for one person. Do not share it or create accounts for others without their consent.
Live mode, which connects the app to a real palletizing cell, requires a machine licence activated by Probot. If your company has signed a licence agreement with Probot for a cell, that agreement governs the software of that cell and its use with the app; if it conflicts with these Terms, the licence agreement prevails for that cell. A machine licence is tied to its cell and cannot be moved to other equipment without Probot’s written consent.
Simulation mode lets you use the app without a robot. The recipes you save in it are backed up to your account so you can find them again. This copy is a convenience, not a guaranteed archive: keep your own copies of recipes that matter to you. Backed-up recipes are deleted with your account, or after one year without any sign-in.
The app can control industrial machinery that can cause serious or fatal injury.
• The app is not a safety device. Never rely on it to stop the robot or to protect people; use the cell’s emergency stops and safeguards.
• Only trained and authorized people may operate the cell. You remain responsible for following your site’s safety rules, FANUC’s procedures and applicable law, and for the risk assessment of the cell.
• The robot’s safety parameters are protected separately. Once they are changed by you or on your behalf, their configuration and compliance are your responsibility.
The AI assistant helps troubleshoot the cell. It is powered by a third-party AI provider (see the Privacy Policy) and is subject to a usage allowance per account or licensed machine; when it runs out, contact us.
• AI can make mistakes. Its answers are suggestions, not professional advice or instructions. Always verify them before acting on the robot.
• You are responsible for the actions you take based on its answers. To the extent permitted by law, Probot is not liable for damage resulting from them.
• Do not enter personal information in your questions. Use Report to tell us about a wrong, unsafe or inappropriate answer.
You agree not to:
• copy, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the app or its protected components, or try to access their source code, except as permitted by law;
• bypass, disable or tamper with licence checks, usage allowances or other technical protections;
• access another person’s account, overload our servers or use automated means to access the Service;
• use the Service in breach of the law or to harm others;
• remove Probot’s proprietary notices.
The app, including its code, interfaces, methods and know-how, is and remains the exclusive property of Probot. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use it in accordance with these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Your recipes, palletizing patterns and configurations remain your property. You allow Probot to store and process them to provide the Service. The file formats and processing methods remain Probot’s property.
The app includes third-party software, including open-source components, which remain governed by their own licences. Those licences prevail over these Terms for those components.
If you downloaded the app from the App Store or Google Play, the store’s terms also apply to your download. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the app or its support.
We work to keep the Service available, but online features (account, cloud backup, AI assistant) may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. Operating a cell in Live mode does not depend on them. We may update the app and add, change or remove features. Some future features may require specific or newer hardware.
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account, in the app or on our website. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, after notice when reasonable, or immediately in case of serious misuse or risk to security. Sections 6, 7, 9, 13 and 14 survive the end of these Terms.
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. No software can be guaranteed free of interruptions or errors, particularly when they result from hardware, networks, the operating environment or changes made by the user.
To the extent permitted by law, Probot is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including loss of production, profits or data, and Probot’s total liability under these Terms may not exceed the amount you paid Probot for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including consumer protection law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. These Terms are available in French and English; if the versions differ, the French version prevails.
We may update these Terms. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date. If we make a significant change, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that date, you accept the new Terms.
